Display Views Management

A Display View is part of a main display, and a main display can have multiple Views. A View shows a subset of the entire display and does not allow to edit the Sigmafine Model (AF). The view may contain a “logical” representation and therefore must not represent what is in the Sigmafine Model.

Create a View​

To create a new View in a display:

  1. Open a display and click on the canvas to open the Display Property Panel
  2. Select the Views tab.
  3. Type the name of the new View inside the textbox.
  4. Click on the plus button to create the new View.

Rename a View​

To rename an existing View of a display:

  1. Open a display and click on the display canvas to open the Display Property Panel.
  2. Select the Views tab.
  3. Locate the View to rename in the list.
  4. Click on the pencil icon in the view row to enable the edit of the view name.
  5. Type the new name for the view.
  6. Click on the checkmark button to Apply the new name or the X button to discard the rename.

Delete a View​

To delete an existing View of a display:

  1. Open a display and click on the display canvas to open the Display Property Panel.
  2. Select the Views tab.
  3. Locate the View to delete in the list.
  4. Click on the trash bin icon in the view row.
  5. Click on the checkmark button to confirm the delete or on the X button to discard.

Edit a View​

To edit an existing view of a display:

  1. Open a display and click on the display canvas to open the Display Property Panel.
  2. Select the Views tab.
  3. Locate the View to edit in the list.
  4. Click on the View name to open another browser with the view opened in editing.
  5. Edit the view as you would do with a display.
Note

Editing a View does not allow to edit the Sigmafine Model (AF).
