Maximum Quantity

For Strapped Tanks the maximum volume (or mass) is the largest quantity in the strapping table for the tank.

For Polynomial Equation Tanks and Geometry Based Tank the maximum quantity of the tank is set by the value of an Attribute in the same element. This Attribute has the same unit of mass or volume as the Attribute being configured for the volume or mass of the tank.

  • If the maximum Attribute has a value of zero, it is not used as a limit.
  • If the volume or mass being calculated from a gauge goes above this maximum it is held at the maximum quantity and the Attribute value is marked as bad.
