Configuring - Vapor Space Volume Calculation

This configuration can be done at the template or individual Element level. The example procedure shown below is done at the template level.

1. In the System Explorer navigation pane, click on Library.

2. From the Templates > Element Templates tree, select the tank template (i.e., SF_GasLiquidTankTemplate).

3. Click on the Attribute Templates tab.

4. In the Name column, select the Attribute for the vapor space in a volume basis (i.e., i_Meas_Volume_VaporSpace).

5. In the Data Reference column select Sigmafine.

6. Double-click in the Settings box to open the Sigmafine Data Reference window.

7. Under Calculation Category select Tank Inventory.

8. Click Next.

   The Tank Inventory window opens.

9. Select Vapor Space - Volume Basis.

10. Click Next.

    The Vapor Space - Volume Basis window opens.

11. Using the following table, select the Substance Attributes.

    Input Box / Button	Description
    Substance Partial Pressure	Select attribute; units of pressure.
    Maximum Capacity	Select attribute; units of Volume.
    Actual Liquid Volume	Select attribute; units of gas standard volume or gas normal volume.
    Temperature	Select attribute; units of temperature.
    Compressibility	Select attribute; (dimensionless).
    Molecular Weight	Select attribute; units of molecular weight.
    Reference Density	Select attribute; units of density.

12. When finished, click Finish to complete the configuration.
