Configuring - Tank Tolerance Based on Uncertainties Calculation

This configuration can be done at the template or individual Element level. The example procedure shown below is done at the template level.

  1. In the System Explorer navigation pane, click on Library.Figure 575: System Explorer - Select Element Template

  2. From the Templates > Element Templates tree, select the tank template (i.e., SF_GaugedTankTemplate).

  3. Click on the Attribute Templates tab.

  4. In the Name column, select the Attribute for the Shell Correction Factor (i.e., i5_Meas_Tolerance_Volume).

The selected Attribute must have a Volume Class UOM.

  5. Click on the Data Reference down-arrow and select Sigmafine.

  6. Click the Settings button to open the Sigmafine Data Reference window.Figure 576: Sigmafine Data Reference - Tolerance

  7. Under Calculation Category select Tolerance.

  8. Click Next.

The Tolerance window opens.Figure 577: Tolerance window - Tank Tolerance Based on Uncertainties
