Configuring - Gross to Net Volume Calculation

This configuration can be done at the template or individual Element level. The example procedure shown below is done at the template level.

  1. In the System Explorer navigation pane, click on Library.Figure 538: System Explorer window - Select Element Template

  2. From the Templates > Element Templates tree, select the tank template (i.e., SF_GaugedTankTemplate).

  3. Click on the Attribute Templates tab.

  4. In the Name column, select the Attribute for the net volume (i.e., i_Meas_Volume_Close).

  5. In the Data Reference column select Sigmafine.

  6. Double-click in the Settings box to open the Sigmafine Data Reference window.Figure 539: Sigmafine Data Reference window - Tank Inventory

  7. Under Calculation Category select Tank Inventory.

  8. Click Next.

  9. Select Gross to Net Volume.

  10. Click Next.

  11. Using the following table, select the Tank Attributes.

    Use Sediment and Water in PercentSelect to use sediment and water in percent. Deselect to use sediment and water correction.
    Sediment and Water CorrectionSelect attribute; (dimensionless) the value is a decimal fraction. 1 Available when the Use Sediment and Water Percent checkbox is not selected.
    Sediment and Water PercentSelect an Attribute with units of percent. 1 Available when the Use Sediment and Water Percent checkbox is selected.
    1 If you choose not to use this parameter, select \<none>.
  12. When finished, click Finish to complete the configuration.
