Step 4: Debug the Analytic

The fourth and final step in analyzing and debugging and analytic is debugging it. The debugging process provides the opportunity to correct any issues that have occurred prior to actually running the analytic and creating a report based on its results.

To debug an analytic:

1. Make sure you have set any Break Points you want to use, and have chosen the Case to apply the analytic to.

2. Click on Debug in the status bar to open the Debug panel.

3. Use one or more of the following tabs to analyze and debug the logic.

   • Execution - tab

   • Output - tab

   • Analytic variables -tab

   • Watch - tab

   • Statistic - tab

   • Errors - tab

4. When finished, click the icon on the right-top side of the Debug panel, to close it.
