Modeler Preferences - Elements Tab

The Elements tab allows you to specify the behavior of the modeler when you are creating elements or transfers.Figure 807: Modeler Preferences - Elements tab

The following table provides a list of the available options and their descriptions.

Show Element dialog box after creationWhen checked (selected), the Element Properties window displays when dragging an Element template into a Model display.
Create flows local to the current modelWhen checked (selected), flows are restricted to the Model in which they are created. Local flows cannot be used in other models. This applies when a flow template is dragged from the 'AF Browser - Template tab' and dropped on the Model display.
Create name labelWhen checked (selected), a name label symbol is created when you add an Element to a Model display.
Create description labelWhen checked (selected), a description label symbol is created when you add an Element to a Model display.
PositionAllows you to select the position for the label relative to the symbol on the Model display.
TransfersAllows you to select the default color when creating a transfer.
Unconnected metersAllows you to select the default color for a meter that is not connected to an element.The meter:Must have only one port.The single port must be unidirectional.The maximum number of connects for the port must be one.
