Element Properties - Child Elements Tab

Use the Child Elements tab to configure or view any child elements that are part of the selected element.

The following table provides descriptions for each of the inputs found under the Child Elements tab and what to do with each one.

AF Property Window – Child Elements Tab

Input Box / Button / Checkbox	Description
Group by: Category/Template	(Optional) Check the Category checkbox organize child elements by grouping them into categories.(Optional) Check the Template checkbox to organize child elements by template names.
Name	Assign a Name for the element.
Description	(Optional) Enter a Description for the element.
Category	Select the categories to which the child Element belongs, if any.
Type	Select the Element Type; Mode, Measurement, Flow, Transfer and Boundary.
Template	Select the template to which the child Element belongs, if any.
