Notification Messages

The following tables provide information on the various notification messages you may see when viewing the Notifications panel.


  • Message:      Bad Data.
  • Type:             Display update.
  • Description: At least one of the displayed values is a Bad Data.
  • Effect:            None.

  • Message:      Protocol violation.
  • Type:             Security
  • Description:  There is a security issue in the transport layer. Your session is blocked for security reasons.
  • Effect:            You have to log in again.

  • Message:      Session timeout.
  • Type:             Security
  • Description:  You have not been working in the application for ... (a set amount) minutes, so your session is blocked for security reasons.
  • Effect:            You have to log in again.

  • Message:      Display updated after a case runner action - User: <username>.
  • Type:             Case status
  • Description:  You performed a Case Runner action on the same case you have selected.
  • Effect:            The display is refreshed.

  • Message:      Display updated after a case runner action - User: <username>.
  • Type:             Case status
  • Description:  Another user performed a case runner action on the same case you have selected. You are informed about the action and are not allowed to make any updates until the other user commits the case ('checks in' the case).
  • Effect:           Warning: What you are seeing may not be valid.

  • Message:      Case has been <case action> - your display has been updated
  • Type:             Case status
  • Description:  You have either done a check in or undo checkout on the case you have selected.
  • Effect:           The display is updated accordingly.

  • Message:     Attribute: <Name> adjusted by user <Username> new value:<Val> previous value: <Val> comment: <Comment>
  • Type:            Case status
  • Description:  You have made an adjustment to the case you have selected.
  • Effect:           The display is updated accordingly.

  • Message:      Attribute: <Name> adjusted by user <Username> new value:<Val> previous value: <Val> comment: <Comment>
  • Type:            Case status
  • Description:  Another user has made an adjustment to the case you have selected.
  • Effect:           The adjustment is done, however, your display is not updated. Warning: What you are seeing may not be valid.

  • Message:      Case has been released by another application
  • Type:             Case status
  • Description:  The Case status has changed to free. This is an action that is not executed by SFHub Visualizer.
  • Effect:           Warning: If you were working with the case data, your work may be lost.

  • Message:      Case has been checked out by another application, user: <UserName> at <Time>
  • Type:             Case status
  • Description:  Another application checked out the case.
  • Effect:           Warning: If you were working with the case data, your work may be lost.

  • Message:      Case was checked out but has been checked out by another user: <UserName> instead of <UserName>
  • Type:             Case status
  • Description:  You checked out the case but suddenly someone else now owns the case.
  • Effect:           Warning: Someone else currently has control of the case. Warning: If you were working with the case, your work may be lost.

  • Message:      Case has been deleted
  • Type:             Case status
  • Description:  Case has been deleted.
  • Effect:           Warning:  The display is updated accordingly.

  • Message:      Case has been locked by <UserName> - Case has been Checked in.
  • Type:             Case status
  • Description:  Case has been locked.
  • Effect:            Warning: If you were working with the case, your case has been checked in and locked..

  • Message:      Case has been unlocked by <UserName> - Case has been Checked in.
  • Type:             Case status
  • Description:  Case is unlocked.
  • Effect:            Warning: If you were working with the case, your case has been unlocked and checked in.
