Edit the IMM Website Configuration File

The IMM Website needs to be configured with specific keys in order to work with your installed Sigmafine applications. This is done by editing the IMM Web Service configuration file in Notepad (or any text editor) and defining the keys accordingly.

To edit the IMM Web Service configuration file:

  1. Go to the directory linked to the IIS Website and that is dedicated to the Sigmafine IMM Server software.

  2. Make a backup copy of the WEB.CONFIG file and save it to another folder for safe keeping.

  3. Open the original WEB.CONFIG file with Windows Notepad (or any text only editor tool).

  4. Edit the following keys according to your installation:

    \<appSettings>

    \<add key="AFServer" value=" PIM01-TO " />

    \<add key="AFDataBase" value="TESTAF" />

    \<add key="AFModel" value="ModelName" />

    \<add key="AFAnalysis" value="ModelName::AnalysisName" />

    \<add key="PIServer" value="PIM01-TO" />

    \<add key="RecalcExeFile" value="C:\Recalc\Pimsoft.Sigmafine.IMM.Recalc.exe" />

    \<add key="RecalcLogFile" value="C:\Recalc\Log\PimsoftRunRecalc.log" />

    \</appSettings>

The following table provides a description for each key.

IIS Web Service Configuration File Key Parameters

    KeyDescription
    AFServerName of the AF Server
    AFDataBaseName of the AF Database
    AFModelName of the AF Model
AFAnalysisName of the AF Analysis (i.e. ModelName::AnalysisName)
PIServerName of the embedded PI Server
RecalcExeFilePath to the Recalc exe file
RecalcLogFilePath to write the Recalc service log file
  5. Save the modified WEB.CONFIG file and close Notepad.

You are now ready to add your IMM domain user name to the IMM_Policy.
