Build Reports Step by Step

Creating a SFHub Studio Report from scratch can be a complex process. Therefore, the aim of this section is to show how easily you can create a simple report in a very short time. It also introduces adding advanced features, using an incremental approach.

For the purpose of the step-by-step examples, we have used a SFHub Studio Analytic (MaterialInventory) designed to extract the inventory information from a Sigmafine Case. Such data is returned by two distinct analytic variables:

  • $$InventoryByMaterial - A SFHub Dictionary containing the total stock by material
  • $$TankTable - A SFHub Table containing the details of the material stock for each tank

The following are the basic steps involved in building a Report.

  1. Create a Simple Report
  2. Style the Report Table
  3. Configure Interaction Between Visuals
  4. Add a Header to the Report
  5. Configure Report and Display Interaction
  6. Use the Dropdown Visual
  7. Use the Chart Visual
  8. Configure the Interface
