Starting the IF Service

To start the Integration Framework (IF) service:

  1. Open your Windows Task Manager as an Administrator.

  2. Navigate to Services.Figure 1460: Windows Services - Pimsoft IF Service

  3. Locate and select Pimsoft.IF.Service in the list of services.

  4. Click the Start Service button.

  5. Close the Task Manager.

  6. Using Windows Explorer, open the IF installation folder (default is C:\Pimsoft\IF).Figure 1461: IF Service - created files

  7. Ensure that the IF folders and files (as shown in Figure 1461) have been created.

  8. Open the Trace folder.Figure 1462: Trace folder

  9. Right-click on the IF_ServiceLog file and open it in Notepad.Figure 1463: IF_ServiceLog opened in Notepad

  10. Check the file for any errors.

    If no errors are found, it indicates that the IF Server is installed and working properly.

    You are ready to start the Client installation.
