Integration Framework Migration Tool

Integration Framework provides a specific tool for migrating the IF configuration between two IF Servers. This tool, called "IF Changer," allows migration of the IF configuration from a source IF Server to a destination one. Simply stated, IF Changer migrates object definitions and configurations between IF servers. This migration tool is usually used for environments with two or more landscapes (e.g. a Development IF Server and a Production IF Server).

IF Changer Requirements for IF Servers​

If the IF Server release is version 2.0.0 or greater, the following requirements apply to both the ‘Source’ and ‘Destination’ servers:

  • Both servers must be running the same version of IF Server.

    If your IF servers are running two different versions of the IF Server software , you cannot run the IF Changer migration tool until you have upgraded the IF Server running the lowest version. It will need to be upgraded to the same version as the IF Server running the more recent version of the IF Server software.

  • Both IF Servers must be located in the same domain and network, and cannot have different networks and/or firewall settings.

  • Both IF Server machines must be accessible from a single unique machine.
