Configurator Component

The Integration Framework Configurator component is the user interface tool you use to interact with the Integration Framework engine. It uses the WCF transport layer in order to communicate with the IF server. Its SOA data abstraction layer is compliant with standard XML DIFFGRAMM representation.

The Configurator does not require a license. Instead, it uses the license of the Integration Framework Server (IF Server) to which it is connected. For example, if the Integration Framework Configuration Tool connects to an IF Server that does not allow the Configurator, it returns an error. If the Framework Server does not include the SOA Connector, and you try to create or configure it, an error is returned stating that the type of connector selected is not included in the license.
