Selecting Data from a Case

The context By Case is a Case context that selects data contained within a case. This Case is the result of running an analysis on a model, and is chosen when you select the Case start time. Case context requires that the Element Attributes being selected are part of a Model and that the Model has an analysis with a Case that can be selected.

To select data from a case:

1. Click on the Time Context down-arrow and select By Case.

   When you select 'By Case', two text boxes appear: 'Starting Case' and 'Ending Case'.

2. In the Starting Case box, type the starting time or cell reference for the beginning (first) case.

   Alternatively, you can click the Search button to select the first Case from the Case Search window.

3. In the Ending Case box, type the ending time or cell reference for the ending (last) case.

   Alternatively, you can click the Search button to select the last Case from the Case Search window
