Working in a Spreadsheet

The Sigmafine Excel Add-In creates a ribbon menu in Excel named "SF" (as shown in Figure 679). As of version 4.6.x, a 'Find Adjustments' option was added to the toolbar that allows you to import a list of adjustments for selected cases. In addition, a 'Find Cases' option was also added that allows you to import a list of Cases for a selected time range.Figure 679: Sigmafine Excel Add-In ribbon toolbar

The following table describes the use of each command found on the SF toolbar.

SF Toolbar "Find Data" Commands

CommandDescription
Database Model/Model Analysis/CaseLets you select the Database, model, Model analysis and Case.
CasesLets you select Cases in a Model analysis.
Table ValuesLets you view and select values within a database table.
ElementsLets you select elements in a model.
TransfersLets you select all the transfers in selected cases.
AdjustmentsLets you select all the adjustments in selected cases.

SF Toolbar "Get Data" Commands

CommandDescription
Transfer ValuesLets you retrieve transfer attribute(s) value(s).
Attribute ValuesLets you retrieve Attribute values for an element.
Attribute Data Table ValuesLets you retrieve values for Attributes that are of Data Table type.
ConnectionsLets you retrieve the adjacent elements in the model.
Element PropertiesLets you retrieve the properties of a specified element.
Table DataLets you retrieve database table columns based on a key table field.

SF Toolbar "Get Summary" Commands

CommandDescription
Attribute Summary ValuesLets you retrieve aggregated results for an element.
Material SummaryLets you retrieve the aggregated value for open inventory, closing inventory, receipts and shipments, based on the material selected. This option appears only if Sigmafine has been installed.

SF Toolbar "Tools" Commands

CommandDescription
Refresh DatabaseCauses any changes made in other applications to be made available to the Excel Add-In.
Convert AF to SF FormulasLets you convert the Sigmafine 4.4.5 formulas so that they are compatible with Sigmafine 4.7 version.
Run AnalysisLets you run a predefined analysis rule on a model.

SF Toolbar "Resources" Commands

SettingsLets you choose the default settings for the Sigmafine Excel Add-In.
AboutDisplays the add-in's version information.
HelpAccesses the Help information.
