Integration Rule Parameters

In relation to Integration Rules, Parameters are used when you want to provide some flexibility to the Integration Rule by setting some general variables (e.g., .INI or .CONFIG file) along the integration path. Parameter objects are stored within the definition of the Integration Rules and therefore, are only visible inside the Integration Rule (they are not visible at the main Integration Framework level).

In the Integration Rule VIRTUAL Dataset, parameters are managed like any other graphical object, with a standard colored box.

IMPORTANT: Parameters are "INPUT-ONLY" meaning, they can only provide data to other boxes/Datasets - they cannot be connected as a destination box to consume data from other boxes.
