SF_Component Table

The Component Data Reference requires that a Table named SF_Component table exists in the database that you are using. The SF_Component table contains component names and property data for components and that it is formatted as shown below.

The Data Reference requires that the columns be named as shown below and the unit of measure assigned to each field is of the correct class. See \ under Server & Client for more information about the SF_Component Table.

The table can be edited by typing in modifications for existing component data and/or by adding or deleting components from the table grid.

Note: As an option to the SF_Component Table containing static content defined in the table, you can link the table to an external table. Refer to the "Modeling Concepts" chapter in the PI AF User Guide.
