Mass to Volume Basis Conversion for Liquids and Solids

The conversion between mass and volume basis requires the density for liquids and solids. To do this conversion, the data reference uses the following equation:

Where:

xi = the mass fraction of component i

vi = the volume fraction of component i

SGi = the specific gravity of component i

Note: Different density definitions can also be used in the data reference. The only restriction is that the unit of measure of the Attribute density must belong to the Specific Gravity or Density unit of measure class.
