Server does not start or initialize

Error / Issue​

The IF Server does not start; or it starts but does not initialize.

Solution / Work-Around​

Perform the following checks in the order listed.

  1. Ensure that the firewall on the machine is turned-off or disabled.
  2. Ensure that the license file has been copied in the proper location/folder.
  3. Ensure that the launching user of the Pimsoft.IF.Service is "LOCAL SYSTEM."
  4. Ensure that the ".config" file has been updated properly.
  5. Ensure that the "Repository" directory contains at least an IFSettings.rep file with a size greater than or equal to 10kbytes (>= 10).
