Error / Issue​

IFShadow does not start.

Solution / Work-Around​

Perform the following checks in the order listed.

  1. Check the log file for any specific errors, and handle them accordingly.
  2. If no errors appear, try to repair and reinstall IFShadow.

Note: x64 Uninstalls: For some configurations, due an error in the global machine config file for .NET, IFShadow registers itself during installation with the wrong 64/32 bits association. If this is the Case in your environment, you must manually register IFShadow using the InstallUtill.exe utility.
