Integration Framework Data Reference (IFDR)

Error / Issue

IFDR cannot connect to the IF Server.

Solution / Work-Around

Perform the following checks in the order listed.

1. Ensure that the firewall on the Client machine is turned-off or disabled.
2. Ensure that the Pimsoft.IFShadow.Service is running on the IF Server machine.
3. Ensure that the Pimsoft.IFShadow.Service is running under a Windows Account and not under "LOCAL SYSTEM" or "NETWORK SERVICE."
4. Ensure that the start-up sequence is as follows:

• First:  IF Server
• Second: IF Shadow
• Third: IF Data Reference (from AFExplorer of PI system Explorer)
