IF Data Reference
The IF Data Reference (Integration Framework Data Reference, also known as IFDR) provides the ability to do the following tasks:
- Connect to an Integration Framework Server
- Consume INPUT Datasets
- Perform a smart client lookup over the selected Dataset
- Implement “GetValue” only by retrieving data according to the type of Dataset
- Cast the expected result into the type you select (the type can be different according to the Attribute type)
The IFDR communicates using a new software layer called "IF Shadow." IF Shadow leaves the execution at the server level to support a full decoupling between the standard IF engine and the AF execution thereby enhancing overall performance during execution.
IFDR has its own specific configuration window for selecting and configuring the Dataset. The configuration window allows you to:
- Source the Integration Framework Server and Dataset
- Define an Output configuration; result column(s) and UoM
- Configure the Client look-up feature
- Set parameter association, casting, formatting and conversion configurations
