Troubleshooting and Notes

The following provide details on common errors and developer notes for the ComponentAR Data Reference.

Common ComponentAR DR Errors and How to Fix Them

Refreshing after changes to input values

If you have entered a new value for an Attribute that acts as an input for either of ComponentAR’s modes and are not seeing an expected change in your results or Table Totals, try refreshing and applying the changes you made to see if that resolves the issue.

Incorrect AF Table

If your AFTable input does not include the following columns, “Material Code, X_min, Y_min, X_max, and Y_max”, then ComponentAR will not accept the table as the AF Table input. To fix this, please insure that your table has these columns.

Missing Material Table

If you do not have a table named precisely “SF_Material table” within your database, then ComponentAR will not be able to grab the table of materials for you to select from during Input Data Mode. To correct this, import SF_Material table.

Failing to initialize the settings

If you cannot open the ComponentAR Value Dialog without receiving an error, verify that you have clicked the “Settings...” button and have initialized Input Data or Calculation Mode and have selected all of the corresponding input data.
