Upgrade 4.6.x to 4.7 or 4.7 SP1

Although the new SQL Access is an entirely different application, there should be no internal setup modifications necessary to upgrade. If you have previous databases/tables that were created/published by older versions of SQL Access, the only change that should occur during the upgrade is that the new SQL Access may add a few new tables to your database. These tables are used to assist the service request queue included in 4.7 (and later) SQL Access versions.

For more details, please see Registering a Database Published by an Older SQL Access Version.
