Registering a Database Published by an Older SQL Access Version

The registration for a Sigmafine database already published on SQL Server by an older version of SQL Access is no longer necessary. Instead, the administrator only needs to:

  1. Uncheck the Create Selected Database(s) check-box in the Register Sigmafine Database window, as shown in the following figure.Figure 1190: Uncheck 'Create Selected Database(s)' checkbox

  2. Require the Update Database for the new registered Sigmafine database.

    The outcome of this request is the creation of some support tables used by the system.

Note: The above procedure is not required for data publish on PI Server.
