System Architecture

A typical Sigmafine IMM deployment scenario consists of:

  • Interfaces collecting data from plant control systems (DCS, SCADA, PLC…etc)
  • A historian acting as a process data repository that is collected from interfaces
  • An IMM Server acting as an application server for IMM
  • IMM Client applications that allow users to access and interact with the IMM application server for displaying and managing IMM data (raw measurements, calculated data, alarms, etc.) either by graphics or via reports.

The Sigmafine IMM Add-In is perfectly integrated and is fully configurable with PI ProcessBook using the "Dockable Window" technology.

PI-Asset Framework (PI-AF) and PI-ProcessBook are OSISoft containers that are used to configure, display, and run the Sigmafine IMM application.
