Displaying AF Data in a Display
The following steps describe how to add an AF value to a display as a ProcessBook value symbol.
To display AF Data in a display:
In the Model display, right-click on an Element and select Add AF Label.
The Add AF Label [Element name] window opens.

Click the Label Position down-arrow and select where you want the label to be located, relative to the element.
Under Label Type, select Attribute Value.
(Optional) Check the Include Attribute name checkbox in you want to include an Attribute name to use as the label.
If you checked the 'Include Attribute name' checkbox, click the Name down-arrow and select the Attribute name to be used.
Click the UOM down-arrow and select the unit of measure to be used.
Click OK to save your selections and close the Add AF Label [Element name] window.
The Attribute appears in the display adjacent to the element, as shown in the following figure.
Both the Attribute value and its label are shown. Value is shown as ‘NO DATA’ in 'Build' mode if the setting Do not retrieve data in Build Mode is selected from the Tools > Data sets menu.
(Optional) In Build mode, drag items around the display in order to arrange them.
To move multiple items at once, hold down the Shift key on your keyboard while selecting the items to be moved, then drag to the desired location in the display.
As you move items:
- The Attribute name moves independently of the Attribute value and element.
- When the Attribute value is moved, its label moves with it, maintaining the relative position between the two; again, independently of the element.
- When the Element is moved, the Attribute value and its label (and any other child symbol) moves with it, maintaining the relative position between them.
- (Optional) Switch to Run mode to see the value for the attribute, as shown in the following figure.
