Installation Process

Important:  Please ensure that all previous versions of the Sigmafine LNG Extension are uninstalled before installing a new version. In addition, please ensure that only Sigmafine 4.7.x is installed.

To uninstall previous versions of the Sigmafine LNG Extension, follow the steps below that apply to your installation.

  • If you have the install kit from the previous version, following the steps under Existing Previous Version Install Kit - Uninstall Instructions.
  • If you do not have the install kit for the previous version, follow the steps under No Existing Previous Version Install Kit - Uninstall Instructions.

Existing Previous Version Install Kit - Uninstall Instructions​

  1. Open Windows Explorer and go to the directory/folder in which the previous version of the Sigmafine LNG Extension installation file is located.

  2. Right-click on the previous version 'install' file and select Run as administrator, to run the installer with administrator permissions.

  3. When prompted to uninstall the previous version, select Remove.

    When the uninstall finishes, we recommend you verify that the software was completely removed.

  4. Open Windows Explorer again and go to the installation directory/folder to verify that the software was fully uninstalled.

    The default installation folder is “C:\Program Files (x86)\Pimsoft\Pimsoft Sigmafine LNG LPG Extensions”.

    You are now ready to install the new Sigmafine LNG Extension. See Installing the New Sigmafine LNG Extension for the instructions.

No Existing Previous Version Install Kit - Uninstall Instructions​

  1. Open the Windows Control Panel and select the option to uninstall software applications.

  2. In the list of installed applications, locate the currently installed version of the extension.

  3. Right-click on the extension application and select Uninstall.

    When the uninstall finishes, we recommend you verify that the software was completely removed.

  4. Open Windows Explorer again and go to the installation directory/folder to verify that the software was fully uninstalled.

    The default installation folder is “C:\Program Files (x86)\Pimsoft\Pimsoft Sigmafine LNG LPG Extensions”.

    You are now ready to install the new Sigmafine LNG Extension. See Installing the New Sigmafine LNG Extension for the instructions.

Installing the New Sigmafine LNG Extension​

To install the most recent version of the Sigmafine LNG Extension:

  1. Open Windows Explorer and locate the directory/folder in which you saved the new install file.

  2. Right-click on the install file and select Run as administrator.

    When the installation is finished, a LoadLibrary Utility opens. For more details please see Sigmafine Load Library Utility.
