LNG Tank Energy
To calculate the energy of the tank at any point in time, we need to know the Density, Volume and Mass Calorific Value of the fluid present in the tank. In such a case, the Volume would be an input and we would use the LNG Calculations Data Reference to calculate the Density and Mass Calorific Value.
Inputs
| Input | Description |
|---|---|
| Mass Calorific Value | Mass calorific value attribute (in any Specific Energy UOM). |
| Volume | Volume attribute (in any Volume UOM). |
| Density | Density attribute (in any Density UOM). |
Calculations
Tank Energy = Volume * Density * Mass Calorific Value
