TES Migration Utility

The release of TES 4.7 SP1 includes an application, called the TES Migration Utility, designed to fix bad element GUIDs in AF Tables after a database import.

The background surrounding the need for this utility is as follows; the Sigmafine Transfer Entry System uses element GUID references in its internal AF tables, which can lead to an issue when there is the need to migrate the AF Database. This is due to the fact that when you import an AF Database from an XML file, GUID references of the elements are recreated in the AF Table and therefore, the TES application cannot recognize them. The TES Migration Utility corrects this issue by reading the GUIDs from the exported XML file.
