Requirements

Software Requirements​

The following are the software requirements for Sigmafine Scheduler.

Note: The x86 platform does not support Sigmafine 4.7 or greater. You must select a machine with an x64 platform in order to install Sigmafine version 4.7 or greater.

Configuration #1: Sigmafine 4.7 Server​

In this environment, the following software needs to be installed on the machine prior to doing the install:

  •  Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or Windows Server 2012 or 2012 R2 with the latest Service Pack and updates
  •  Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 x64 with the latest Service Pack
  •  OSISoft PI-SDK 1.4.6.494 x64
  •  OSISoft PI-Asset Framework Server 2.9.5 x64 (2017 R2)
  •  OSISoft PI-Asset Framework Client 2.9.5 x64 (2017 R2)
  •  Pimsoft Sigmafine 4.7
Configuration #2: Sigmafine 4.6.x Server​

In this environment, the following software needs to be installed on the machine prior to doing the install:

  •  Microsoft Windows Server 2012 or 2012 R2 with latest Service Pack and updates
  •  Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 x64 with latest Service Pack
  •  OSISoft PI-SDK 1.4.4 x64
  •  OSISoft PI-Asset Framework Server 2.6.1 x64 (2014 R2) or higher
  •  OSISoft PI-Asset Framework Client 2.6.2 x64 (2014 R2 SP1) or higher
  •  Pimsoft Sigmafine 4.6 or greater (suggested 4.6.8)

Additional requirements and other plug-ins are not listed here since they depend on the analysis plug-ins that should be automated for the execution. In this respect, we strongly suggest installing Sigmafine Scheduler on a Sigmafine Server machine, to avoid problems.

Important Information​

  • Sigmafine Scheduler does not require any additional license key file. Instead, it relies on the Sigmafine license file.
  • Sigmafine Scheduler can usually be placed on the Sigmafine Server, though it can also run on another dedicated server. If run on a dedicated server, a complete Sigmafine client installation must be performed prior installing Sigmafine Scheduler.
  • When installing the Sigmafine client, ensure that the initialization key in the system registry has been created for both the x86 and x64 environments, as the execution of each plug-in can be different according to the specific plug-in.
