Introduction to the Sigmafine Data Loader

The Sigmafine Data Loader application is a Sigmafine utility that imports data required for Sigmafine models. The utility imports data into PI Points and/or creates inputs to a specific Case of a Sigmafine Model Analysis from text files, by using the information stored in a Sigmafine model.

The Data Loader performs two functions:

• When running in a time context, the Data Loader uses the Asset Framework data references to locate the PI Points that hold the data. The Data Loader then processes files in multiple formats (.xls, and .csv file types), and stores the data into PI Points and/or into a specific Case of a Sigmafine Model Analysis.
• When running in a Case context, the Data Loader provides a method to create inputs for a Sigmafine Analysis Case.

Errors and messages from the Data Loader are written to the 'Dataloader.log' file. The log file is located in the %TEMP% directory.
