Sigmafine Install

As mentioned in the previous section, there are several components that need to be installed for Sigmafine. Many of these components are actually prerequisites for the next install. Every OSISoft product setup kit checks for needed prerequisite software during installation. If not found, the installation will stop and you will be prompted to install the missing prerequisites. Make sure the account you are using has administrator privileges to perform the installation, as the registry will need to be edited and files will need to be copied to the system directory. The Sigmafine software prerequisites and the installation procedure for the different Sigmafine components will be described in the \Installation Topics below.

Note: The version of Sigmafine 4.7 R2 (and later) utilizes AF version 2.10.6 and it is not backwards compatible with previous AF versions. Pimsoft recommends contacting Sigmafine technical support before trying to upgrade from previous AF versions to 2.10.
