Create the Digital Sets

To create the Digital Sets for the Tank Monitoring Option installation you must first copy the following files under the installation directory (Sigmafine\Library):

  • DigitalSet_IMM_TankConsistencyStatus.csv
  • DigitalSet_IMM_TankMovementStatus.csv

Once the above files have been copied to the directory, you can use them to create the digital set configurations that are used for the “Tank consistency status” and the “Tank movement status”.

To create the digital set configurations:

  1. Run the “PI System Management Tools” application.
  2. Select your PI Server.
  3. Select Points and Digital States (the right pane lists the digital state sets defined for the PI Data Archive).
  4. Right-click on the server and select Import from File.
  5. Browse to the folder and select the DigitalSet_IMM_TankConsistencyStatus.csv file.
  6. In the Import Digital Set(s) window, click on Create Set(s).
  7. Verify that the new digital state set is added to the server's list, and then click Close.
  8. Repeat steps 1 through 7 for the 'DigitalSet_IMM_TankMovementStatus.csv' noting that for step 5, you must select the DigitalSet_IMM_TankMovementStatus.csv file.
