Versions

Sigmafine WSA services are available in different versions/builds in order to support different OSISoft infrastructure deployments:

  • SF-WSA (1.x.x) for AF 1.x - is the version built for PI-Analysis Framework 1.3.0 or higher (suggested AF 1.3.3).

    This version can be used in combination with OSIoft PI-AF 2.x compatibility layer. This version does not work with pure AF 2.x systems.

  • SF-WSA (2.x.x) for AF 2.4.x - is the version built for PI-Asset Framework 2.4.0 or higher and it does not work with AF 1.x systems.

  • SF-WSA (4.6.x) for latest AF 2.x platform - is the version built for PI-Asset Framework from 2.6.0 to latest 2.8.X over x64 platforms.

  • SF-WSA (4.7.x) for latest AF 2.9.x platform - is the version built for PI-Asset Framework 2.9.x and is not backward compatible with previous AF versions.

You can install both versions of SF-WSA on the same web server, though, you must install them on different virtual directories, each with a different working process. SF-WSA 4.7.x supports only the latest versions PI-WebParts and PI-DataServices. For these additional products, please refer to the System Requirements for further details.
