SFHub Date and Time Functions

The SFHub Date and time functions allow you to work with and manipulate dates.

When using dates it is essential to consider whether the sigmafine server systems, the SFHub application server and the users share the same time zone or not; if not all share the same time zone, then it becomes necessary to define what the reference time zone should be. For example, if SFHub and Sigmafine servers use different time zones, the same Date will have different meanings.

SFHub supports four different types of time zones:

  • User - the defined date is automatically converted into the time zone of the user who executes the function

    Note

each user can freely select his own reference time zone.

  • SFHub - the defined date is automatically converted into the time zone of the application server

  • SFServer - the defined date is automatically converted to the Sigmafine server time zone. In the case of multiple servers in different time zones, the date will always be converted automatically based on the server for which the function is evaluated

  • Utc - the date is not converted and is assumed to be in UTC format
