Viewing Sigmafine Element Templates

The Sigmafine elements are based on a series of templates. These templates define the following objects:

• Element Attributes: Attributes specify where values and information are collected through a data reference and become inputs into an analysis.
• Element Ports: Ports determine how elements connect to one another. Ports can be defined as input, output, and undirected.
• Input ports define material coming into an element.
• Output ports define material coming from an element.
• Undirected ports define additional information about a material flow or inventory. Sigmafine uses these to connect measurements.

You can view the Element templates in System Explorer under Library, by expanding the 'Element Templates' collection in the tree as shown in Figure 101, or from the 'Templates' tab of the Modeler’s AF Browser as shown in the Figure 102.
