Changing Attribute Names

Your Sigmafine application data might require a specific naming convention. For example, you change the names from English to the local language. Each analysis has required Attributes that need to exist in the template. Typically, these Attributes do not depend on the name of the attribute, but rather the data type, category, and units of measure of the attribute.

For example, you can rename the attribute 'ReconciledMass' to 'RecMass'. Because this Attribute has a value type of double and a UOM that are within the mass base class, it is still an option in the Sigmafine analysis configuration.

The category of the Attribute affects the operation of Sigmafine analysis rules and data references. For a table of the categories used in Sigmafine, see section "Attribute Categories." The elements themselves have categories as well. See section "Element Template Categories" for descriptions.
