Building a Sigmafine Model

\The System Explorer and Modeler can be very effective tools for creating, developing and managing a model.

SF Modeler: The SF Modeler allows you to build a graphical presentation of the logical Model stored in the Sigmafine database. Building large Models with complex connectivity and validating these Models against existing facility diagrams is best done in a graphical tool, such as Modeler. Within the SF Modeler, a Sigmafine Model can be created, modified and edited.

The modeler consists mainly of 4 windows; AF Property, AF Browser, AF Output and AF Case Runner. The display of these tools can be switched on and off using the View menu. For Model building purposes AF Property and AF Browser windows will be mainly used.

System Explorer: At any point in the creation of a library of elements, you can create a Model through the System Explorer. The purpose of modeling in Sigmafine is to put the logical collection of elements together with their connectivity, with the goal of performing one or more Sigmafine analyses.
