How Does Sigmafine Work?

Sigmafine performs the functions of data validation by running a configurable series of analyses on a Model built with OSIsoft’s AF. The results from these validation analyses can be published to the PI System and other systems for reporting or further analysis. Reporting and analysis can also be done directly from the results set. Sigmafine Operation

A: Sigmafine ModelA Sigmafine Model is composed of elements representing the different processes, inventory, receipt and shipment points and flows in a facility.
B: Configure Analysis RuleAnalysis Rules are configured for a model. Sigmafine has analyses for material balances and error checking. A time rule is used to schedule an analysis.
C: Run AnalysisAnalysis Cases are run against the model. The Case contains the configuration of the Model during the time range of the Case as well as the results of the analysis.
D: PublishFor each Case created, the data can be published to PI Points or other data sources after the analysis data is verified.
E: Report / Analyze ResultsEither before or after data is published, Sigmafine has analysis and reporting tools for viewing analysis data and creating reports.
