Rerunning an Analysis Case

After making corrections to an analysis case's source data or after adding omitted data, you should always rerun the analysis. This can be done repeatedly, until all the functions complete successfully.

To re-run a case:

  1. Open System Explorer or Modeler.

  2. Select the Case you need to run again.

  3. Use the Case Runner buttons to rerun the steps that need to be executed.

Ensure that you deselect the checkboxes on the buttons if you want to execute each step manually.

    EXAMPLE: Case Runner checkboxes deselected

Figure 195: Case Runner - all checkboxes deselected

  4. Rerun the functions in the order in which their related buttons appear in the Case Runner toolbar.

For example, if you had a problem in Collect Inputs as shown in the figure above, you need to re-run the steps following the collection of inputs as well (Run, Publish).

Note: If multiple executions are required (for instance, when troubleshooting an analysis problem), do not click Check-In or Publish until you are finished. This prevents other users from seeing the iterations of the analysis results.
