Initial Imbalance
The Initial Imbalance is the quantity difference between the sum of measured flows into a balance Element and the sum of measured flows out.
- Initial Imbalance = total measured flow in – total measured flow out.
Sigmafine always calculates the initial imbalance from measured data, if it is available, instead of reconciled data. The greater the absolute value of the initial imbalance, the greater the measurement difference across the balance element.
