Global Element

Global elements can be used in multiple models. If you remove a global Element from a model, it remains in the database. Remove the Element from the global elements collection to delete it from the database. It is removed from all Models that use the global Element as well. The parent property of a global Element is defined as null.

To identify the global elements in a model:

1. Open the AF Properties window.

2. Check the Elements tab.

   Global elements are listed on the Elements tab. Local elements are also listed, but in a "path" structure.
