Energy Initial Imbalance
Energy Initial Imbalance is the energy difference between the summation of measured energy for flows that enter a balance point and the summation of energy for flows that leave it.
- Energy Initial Imbalance = total energy measured in – total energy measured out
Sigmafine calculates the energy initial imbalance from measured data if it is available. For unmeasured flows, reconciled information can be used for the calculation. When an energy meter is not used in a flow, the energy measurement is assumed as the product between the measured mass, obtained from a mass meter, and the measured specific energy, obtained from a specific energy meter.
