Sequential Analysis Rule Requirements
The Sigmafine Sequential Analysis Rule does not require certain templates/elements/tables or other configurations to exist within the model.
The requirements for running this analysis include the following:
- The requirements to run the analysis are the summary of the requirements of each analysis configured to run in the sequence. For instance, if in the sequence a user configures Mass Balance and Universal Calculation, then the requirements for the Sequential analysis are the merged requirements of the Mass Balance and the Universal Calculation analyses. For further information about the specific requirements of each analysis, please refer to the requirement section of Sigmafine analysis in this User’s Manual.
- The analyses should not overlap each other. This means that if you configure 2 linear balance analyses, the user must be sure that no overlapping Attributes will be used for running the sequence; otherwise, some results may be deleted/overwritten and some inputs might be misinterpreted by each analysis. It is very important to configure each step of the sequence in the proper way to avoid overlapping. The Sigmafine Sequence analysis does not automatically check for overlapping in inputs and outputs.
The Sequential analysis is a very generic execution sequence of other analyses; so in this respect, the standard steps of the analysis are very different from other analyses. Specifically, the behavior of the Sequence analysis is described by the following:
- COLLECT ELEMENTS: Standard behavior
- COLLECT TRANSFER: No action performed
- COLLECT INPUTS: No action performed
- RUN: It runs the sequence of the analysis defined by the user. The exact steps for each analysis under execution can be configured in the Sequence step (for further information please refer to the configuration section for this analysis)
- PUBLISH: No action performed
