Transfers which are Non-Solvable
This analysis rule includes the list of transfers that the Sigmafine reconciliation solver determined were non-solvable. In a Sigmafine model, a non-solvable transfer indicates an insufficient number of measurements in an area of the Model for it to be completely solved.
The following table lists a sample log output for this analysis.
Sample Log
| Time | Severity | Element | Attribute | Message |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 7/25/2005 13:22 | Error | TransferB | InferredStatus | TR20050725-01; Source=NodeB; Destination=TankB |
Analysis Method
- Collect a list of all Transfer elements in the current Case that satisfy the following criteria:
- Status Attribute value is IS (In Service).
- Solvability value is NS.
- Write to the log section of the case. Report the violation, transfer Element name, attribute, and source and destination of transfer.
Configuration Using the Wizard
The configuration of the Transfers which are Non-Solvable is a selection of the Post-Reconciliation Gross Error Analysis Rule. You open the window for configuring the test (shown in the following figure) from the General Gross Error Analysis Rule Wizard.
Open the Gross Error Configuration window as described in Configuring - General Gross Error Analysis Rule.
On the Transfers tab, select Transfers which are non-solvable.
A Transfers which are non-solvable - Attributes window opens.
Select measurement basis and the Attributes according to the following table:
Attributes
Selections Description Measurement Basis Select either mass or volume basis. Solvability Transfer Solvability from Sigmafine reconciliation solver. Default is 'Solvability'. Status Transfer in/out of service status. The default is to 'ObjectStatus'. Click OK to finish the configuration.
The text "CONFIGURED" displays next to the 'Transfers which are non-solvable' selection.
To run this test, see Running the Post Reconciliation Gross Error Analysis.
