Tanks with Change of In / Out of Service or Set to Self-Calculate

This analysis rule includes the list of tank elements that have a change in service from the previous Case and/or have been set to self-calculate. Out-of-service tanks that have not had a change in status are also noted.

The following table lists a sample log output for this analysis.

Analysis Method

  1. Collect a list of all tank elements in the current Case and previous Case that satisfy the following criteria:
  • Tank Element Status is different in current Case then in previous case.

    Or

  • Tank Element self-calculating flag Attribute value is different in the two cases.

  1. Write to the log section of the case. Report the current Element status and self calculating flag, the previous Element status and the self calculating flag.

Configuration Using the Wizard

The configuration of the Tanks with Change of In/Out of service and Self Calculating Flag is a selection of the General Gross Error Analysis Rule. You open the window for configuring the test (shown in the following figure) from the General Gross Error Analysis Rule Wizard.

  1. Open the Gross Error Configuration window as described in Configuring - General Gross Error Analysis Rule.

  2. On the Tanks tab, select Tanks with change of in/out of service or set to self-calculate.

  3. Select Attributes according to the following table:

    Self-calculating FlagTank Self-calculating flag. The default is 'SelfCalculatingFlag'.
    StatusTank in/out of service status. The default is 'ObjectStatus'.
  4. Click OK to finish the configuration.

    The text "CONFIGURED" displays next to the 'Tanks with change of in/out of service or set to self-calculatel' selection.
