Configuring - Composition Tracking Analysis Rule
A composition tracking analysis is configured as part of a Sigmafine based model, a Model with elements built on the Sigmafine Element templates. For the specific requirements for this analysis, refer to the section "Composition Tracking Analysis Requirements."
Note: If you change any of the configuration parameters after you have previously configured the Composition Tracking Analysis and have previously run the analysis on cases, you must reinitialize the starting (first) analysis Case and re-run the analysis on the cases.
To configure the analysis rule, follow the steps below using either the System Explorer or the Modeler.
Use either System Explorer or Modeler to open the Choose Analysis Template window.
From the navigation pane, select Sigmafine Analyses.

Click the Model down-arrow and select the Model for which you are creating the analysis.
Note: A mass or volume balance analysis must also be configured for this model.
Click the Analysis menu button and select New, to open the Choose Analysis Template window.
On the SF Analysis Toolbar, click the New Analysis button to open the Choose Analysis Template window.
In the Choose Analysis Template window, \<None> is selected by default; this value is fine for what you need to do.
The remaining steps are common to both System Explorer and ProcessBook (Modeler) configuration.
Click OK.
The Analysis Properties window opens.

In the Name box, type a name for the new analysis.
(Optional) In the Description box, type a short description of the analysis.
Click on the Analysis Rule box down-arrow and select Composition Tracking.
Click on the Time Rule box down-arrow and select Periodic.
Click Apply.
Under Analysis Rule, click the Settings button
The Composition Tracking Configuration window opens.

The table below provides a summary of the four tabs found in the Composition Tracking Configuration window.
Use this tab ... to configure these parameters Control Parameters This tab contains the configuration parameters for the Reconciliation solver and the Composition Tracking solver. Input Attributes Inventories, Meters and Transfers – Select measured value and corrected value attributes.Composition Tracking – Select inputs attributes Output Attributes Measurement and Flows - Select reconciled output Attributes for meters, inventories, transfers and flows.Balances – Select reconciled balance Attributes for nodes, inventories, and processes.Composition Tracking – Select reconciled output attributes Extended Params This tab contains some additional or extended configuration parameters for the Composition Tracking solver. These options allow you to reduce the strictness applied by the solver during the calculation. Select the properties and options as described in the following \topics, beginning with the Control tab.
