DX2 - Reconciled Correction Indicator
The DX2 - Reconciled Correction Indicator indicates the extent of correction in the reported measurements that strike a material balance across the plant. This index is expressed as a percentage. The operating target is for a Correction Ratio of less than 5%, although this may not be achievable initially.
DX2 is calculated by the following equation:
DX2 = RMS (Corrections) / RMS (Redundant Flows )
Where:
I = ith flow/transfer/inventory that is in service.
N = total number of redundant flows/transfers/inventories.
QC = value of the reconciled correction to the mass measurement that is redundant.
QR = value of the mass or a measurement that is redundant.
